OddBall Creepy Cute Chronicles Newsletter

Image
Happy Friday! I'm very excited for this week's newsletter, because I, once again, was asked if I could design it, and I as so excited. A redemption story, for myself, because I felt my first attempt wasn't the "level" of good I wanted it to be. But, this one makes me happy. I decided to do something fun and summery, still bringing in a bit spooky quirkiness into the mix. Love how this girl turned out! A spooky gal, living her best life at the beach. Used distress inks and oxides to create a sunset background and hand drew the palm tree to add depth and shadows. How would you use this week's free image? Are you signed up already? Make sure to visit the OddBall website today, and sign up so you can also receive this image,  plus DT and Abassador Inspiration! And while you're there, check out the reat of the creepy cute images that are available in the shop. Use coupon code Eny1 to get one FREE  image with the purchase of two! Happy crafting!

All these bunnies together, with the sentiment, makes for a creepy cute card.  For the card base, I used a Sizzix Stepper Card,  designed by the wonderful Stephanie Barnard.  I used Arteza Everblend Markers to color my images,  for a soft and fun look. The exclusive Premium Membership is a great way to receive a monthly image not found in the store, plus you get access to all previous weekly freebies. International Music Day! feat. Xyron

Image
Hello everyone, Today I have a fun project to share with all of you. In celebration of International Music Day, I have created a fun gift box, for the aficionado in your life. I wanted to create a gift box that looked like a record player and with a bit of thinking, I was able to pull it off.   We begin with 2 sheets of 6x6 cardstock  Score on all four sides at the one inch mark  Make a snip on all fur corner, going a long the score lines.  Fold and crease every score line  Adhere all sides together. I used my Xyron Mega Runner . Not only is it easy to use, but the adhesive is strong!  Once all pieces are adhere, you will have a top and a lid.  Bring both pieces together, until.you have a full box. It will fit snug.  To really give it a Record Player look, I added an extra piece of cardstock.  This one is trimmed to be 4x6 and scored , widthwise,  at the one inch mark.  Adhere the scored portion to the back of the "lid" of the box.  To add

It's such a wonderful set and deals are my favorite animal, so I had to use it for this project!  I have a full tutorial video showing how I put the box together that you can find here.  I wanted a fun, summer theme,  and when I saw this paper pad from DCWV, I knew I had to grab it and use it for this particular project.
