DIY Wall Decor using ADORNit Paintable

Image
Hello everyone and happy Monday! Interior design and decor pieces can be tricky,  specially on a tight budget. As much as my family moved around, it can get exhausting to try and make each house feel like a home. I have found that creating my own decor gives any room any home-y feel and gives me the chance to get creative. For this fun and easy wall decor, I used the Wonderful Paintable and the Black and White Dots cardstock from ADORNit. I colored my image using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. Being that the paintables are made with high quality watercolor paper, using alcohol markers can be tricky. But, I find that using a light touch helps, and the end results are beautiful. For my base, I used a recycled box that I decorated with the black and white cardstock, crepe paper trim and a shiny black ribbon. I cut out my colored image, and glued it to my piece. I now have a fun and colorful wal decor piece,  that will fit in any room in my home.  Continue to be inspi

DIY Gift Box and Card: ADORNit Crafts

Hello everyone! The other day I was thinking about handmade gifts. Creating something uniquely tailored ,for a special someone in ur lives. Though it's always easier to buy premade items, there's a certain appeal to create something extra special! For today's craft project, I used a ArtC box kit I recently got and altered its appearance with the Scribbles cardstock from ADORNit. I glued each individual component of my box to the paper, trimmed the excess and then assembled my piece. I will be using this jewelry box as a fun way to gift some coffee samples and a giftcard to a coffee shop. Because of this I used the Coffee paintable sheet to decorate the top of the box and added a more vintage feel, by distressing the edges of the box with ink. And what gift is complete without a handmade card?! I wanted to focus on this beautiful image and sentiment, from the Home paintable sheet, and colored it using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. For my background, I used the

DIY Bookmarks|ADORNit Paintable Sheets

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've shared a project,  and today I have a super quick and easy one for you. I colored four different images included in a ADORNit Paintable sheet and turned them into some fun bookmarks! I love these paintable sheets.  They take away the grind of staming,  and they include some amazing and fun images that can be used for any and all paper craft projects. To color these, I used my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. It can be a little tricky with the watercolor paper, but the end result is worth it! I trimmed the excess paper, leaving only the images I wanted to use and then ran them through my laminator,  t make them extra sturdy. I now have 4 great gifts ready for any occasion. Make sure to visit the ADORNit website today to find out about all their amazing products, and stay tuned to my blog  for all future projects and tutorials. Happy  crafting, Eny Dunn
